With this plan, the Government is promoting the deployment of this sustainable energy vector, which will be key for Spain to achieve climate neutrality, with a 100% renewable electricity system, no later than 2050. The Council of Ministers, at the proposal of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO), approved in October 2020 the "Hydrogen Roadmap: a commitment to renewable hydrogen". Of these 38 locations, six will be in Andalusia, five in Castilla y La Mancha, four in Castilla y León and Catalonia, three in the Community of Madrid, two in Galicia, Valencia, Murcia, Aragon, Navarre and Extremadura, and one each in the Balearic Islands, Asturias, Cantabria and the Basque Country. The network of 38 hydrogen stations will be deployed throughout Spain, using the company's hydrogen production centres located in La Robla, Mirara, Valencia, Palos de la Frontera and Alcázar de San Juan. In all these systems, hydrogen is supplied to vehicles through a dispenser adapted to the needs of the vehicle. In the first phase of the initiative, two types of hydrogenerators are proposed: 20 with on-site hydrogen production by means of electrolysers and 18 hydrogenerators without on-site hydrogen production. In the second phase, the total infrastructure will reach 120 hydrogenerators. In February 2021, Naturgy presented a project for the construction of 38 hydrogen refuelling stations (hydrogeneras) throughout Spain, which the company expects to have in place by 2025. The network is still scarce in Spain, but implementation projects have already been presented. Hydrogen has its own chapter in the Directive and, although the development of infrastructures for its refuelling (hydrogen plants) is optional, Spain has decided to consider it in the National Action Framework given the potential it represents for our country. The circulation of hydrogen vehicles on Spanish roads will be a reality before the end of 2020, according to the forecast made by experts in the field during the conference "Hydrogen in transport: infrastructures and vehicles" organised by the Spanish Hydrogen Association (AeH2) within the framework of the Genera Fair held at IFEMA (Madrid).Įuropean Union Directive 2014/94 obliged each member country to develop a National Action Framework for Alternative Energies in Transport by the end of 2016. GIMP: Feature Complete With a Steep Learning Curve The Rio was a big success during the Christmas 1998 season as sales significantly exceeded expectations, spurring interest and investment in digital music. It was a very basic unit and wasn't user-expandable, though owners could upgrade the memory to 64MB by sending the player back to Eiger Labs with a check for $69.00 plus $7.95 shipping.Īnother early MP3 player was the Rio PMP300 from Diamond Multimedia, introduced in September 1998. The first handheld portable MP3 player released on the American market was the Eiger Labs F10, a 32MB imported version of the MPMan F10 that appeared in the summer of 1998. It retailed for $599 and was a commercial failure. It consisted of a 3GB IBM 2.5" hard drive that was housed in a trunk-mounted enclosure connected to the car's radio system. The world's first car audio hard drive-based MP3 player was also released in 1997 by MP32Go and was called the MP32Go Player. In 1997, the world's first MP3 player, the MPMan F10, was developed by a South Korean company SaeHan Information Systems. It was based on several audio data compression techniques, including the modified discrete cosine transform (MDCT), FFT and psychoacoustic methods. MP3 was introduced as an audio coding standard in 1994. It could store up to an hour of music, but despite getting an award at CES only 25 copies were made. The Listen Up Player was released in 1996 by Audio Highway. The project was controlled by an expert in mathematics and electronics, Karlheinz Brandenburg. In 1987 a German research institute, part of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, started the research program for coding music with the high quality and low bit-rate sampling at its institute. However, in 1988 Kramer's failure to raise the £60,000 required to renew the patent meant it entering the public domain, but he still owns the designs. Later Kramer set up a company to promote the IXI and five working prototypes were produced with 16-bit sampling at 44.1 kilohertz with the pre-production prototype being unveiled at the APRS Audio/Visual trade exhibition in October 1986. Plans were made for a 10-minute stereo memory card and the system was at one time fitted with a hard drive which would have enabled over an hour of recorded digital music. The player was as big as a credit card and had a small LCD screen, navigation and volume buttons and would have held at least 8MB of data in a solid-state bubble memory chip with a capacity of 3½ minutes' worth of audio. UK patent 2115996 was issued in 1985, and U.S. In 1981, Kane Kramer filed for a UK patent for the IXI, the first Digital Audio Player. Bitcraft – What Is It?īitcraft is a new kind of MMORPG according to Clockwork Labs, a sandbox that pushes players to focus on more than just basic combat, with deep fishing, crafting, farming, city building and social strategy gameplay mechanics. As of what we know now, there aren’t any mechanics or gameplay quirks that prevent the game from coming to PS5 and PS4, in fact it looks like it could do well on PlayStation in a vein similar to how games like Rust and Genshin Impact are popular.Īll that to say we can’t say it’ll come to PS5 and PS4 right now, but its likely it could, as it seems Clockwork Labs is open to the idea. So as is the case with many games, its just likely that if Clockwork Labs sees a growing number of people in their community who would want to play on PlayStation, and the project is able to accommodate the work, then we might see it happen. Apple seems to go out of their way to hide any concept of a directory or a file from users. But I doubt that they do (I hope I am wrong). It would be great if Apple had a File Manager app where you could move stuff around on your iPhone, to be discovered by other apps. But I do not want to stream the book to read only while online - I want to download it for offline use. I could make the ebook I want to transfer available via a WebDAV server if there are reader apps for Apple that support that. Apple doesn't appear to provide this same flexibility. But I could enable Calibre's built-in Content Server if necessary.įor Android devices, I simply download the ebook from my Calibre Web server and then use an Android File Manager app to move the downloaded file to a place where Moon+ Reader Pro can find it. I access this with a web browser to download books. I run "Calibre Web", a 3rd party server that works with Calibre's database. I know nothing about iPhones, their operating system, or their connecting cables - but I am a Linux guru. There are no USB-C connectors on the computer running Calibre, so even if I had a Lightning to USB-C cable, that wouldn't do me any good. I have a Lightning to USB-A cable available, and physical access to the computer running Calibre (Linux), and it's network (both WiFi and ethernet). There are no other Apple products available to aid in the transfer (no MAC desktops or laptops, etc.) Windows computers are available to assist, but none of them have iTunes installed that I am aware of (is iTunes still even available?) I just don't like the idea of putting Amazon in the middle of things to collect data for marketing and advertising. I would prefer not to use Send To Kindle unless that's the only possibility. Would consider installing a 3rd party reader app on the iPhone if it makes transfers simpler. Sounds simple, huh? To be read in either the Kindle app on the iPhone or by the built-in iBooks app. Move an ebook from Calibre 5.44 to an iPhone 13. Calibre? Apple Devices? Right here in General Discussions? Hopefully a moderator will move this post to where it will hopefully get a response. #1 haertig 02-05-2023, 03:35 PMI am not sure which subforum this question best belongs in.
